Just a bloke with a camera
  • Home
With no desire to take photographs anymore i have decided to sell my camera.
Here though are the photographs i took back when i did still care for the subject.
So included in these galleries are photographs of friends, photographs of girlfriends,
photographs of people i met in the street and photographs of people who just
asked me really nicely as well as photographs taken hither and yon of various bits
and bobs and of course photographs of my beloved Newfoundland, Dougal.

This and that
I don't claim to be a photographer but taking photographs is the only way i know to capture the beauty of a subject. This in turn enables me to share with others how i see the world. I find this aspect of the process the most rewarding of all. The photographs i take have no greater meaning. I do not aspire to art. If you the viewer find any of them in any way beautiful or captivating then that is more than enough for me.

I am slowly recovering from a serious illness i experienced in 2009. Consequently, i only recently started taking photographs again in the summer of 2011 as i took my first tentative steps away from home for the first time in two years.

I am an ethical vegan. Other than the company of my beloved dog i lead a solitary life.

I sell prints of my work on request. Please feel free to contact me via the link below for details.

Additionally, if you are able to, please show support to the charities linked at the bottom of this page.

Thank you.
